Ronald McDonald House Charities

While attending a check presentation at Ronald McDonald House from the Shop With a Cop donation drive, company co-founder Chris Tilton met a pediatric cancer patient. It was a revelation. Chris was inspired after meeting her and talking with her family. Shortly after the check presentation ceremony, he took the time to learn more about Ronald McDonald House Charities. Dewitt Tilton Group is now a corporate sponsor of RMHC and is deeply involved in several local annual events.

Pooler First Responders’ Holiday Feast

Since 2018, Dewitt Tilton Group has rewarded first responders with a Holiday Season feast. The tradition began when the company was located in Thunderbolt, Ga., and now continues in Pooler. Each year, team members gather to personally serve police, firefighters, and EMTs a full meal, from appetizers to desserts. Recently, Pooler Elementary School students have joined in creating artwork to show their appreciation.

Backpacks of Love

In the Savannah suburb of Richmond Hill, Ga., the Backpacks of Love program sends needy and potentially hungry schoolchildren of Bryan County home with packages of quality, nourishing food each Friday and before extended school breaks. In the last year, Dewitt Tilton Group has doubled their donation and supported the cause with team members helping assemble the packages.
